Elite Teams are considered by athletes who are looking to train and compete at the highest level in club, and aspire to play in college. Teams are led by experienced coaches and are usually supported by a paid assistant coach.
Elite teams compete in all of the SCVA regional events, as well as the Southern California Junior Olympic qualifier. Teams may compete in additional out of region Junior Olympic qualifiers or tournaments (i.e. Las Vegas Classic, Triple Crown). The additional cost of these out of region qualifiers and tournaments are not included in the regular season dues. An SCVA schedule can be found at www.scvavolleyball.org by clicking on Juniors/Girls/Schedule.
All players accepting spots on elite teams will be required to compete in AAUs, Festival or the Junior Olympic Championships at the end of the season.
