The Winter and Spring Clinic series is designed for young players looking to progress onto more advanced teams or for kids who are new to the game. Each session creates an environment where elementary and middle school kids can “catch the volleyball bug”. Participants will develop the skills necessary for them to excel in the sport.
There are no tryouts, but the participants will eventually be grouped by skill and experience. The skill grouped teams will then participate in one local tournament to be played in San Diego County towards the end of each session. Tournament participation is optional but is an easy way for the players to gain competition experience in a low pressure environment.
This program is where many of COAST’s top players first learned to play the game and then projected into our elite and regional level travel teams.
