COAST Elite Teams are for athletes looking to train and compete at the highest level in club, and aspire to play in college. Teams are led by experienced coaches and may also be supported by a paid assistant coach.
The following elite teams are expected to be fielded this year:
The boys’ season is broken up into two parts. The first portion of the season begins with tryouts and group training in September, team training beginning in October and concludes in late January. The second portion of the season resumes in late May with tryouts and team training and regional tournament play beginning immediately to prepare for the Junior Olympic Championships taking place in late June/early July.
Teams typically practice from 8 to 10 times per full month.
All players accepting spots will compete in the Junior National Championships.
Elite teams compete in all of the regional events and will have approximately 25 competition days. Teams may opt to compete in additional out of region Junior National Qualifiers. The additional cost of these out of region qualifiers and tournaments are not included in the regular season dues.
