Coast Volleyball Club welcomes back Kevin Trombley to the coaching staff. Kevin was an assistant coach for the Shorebreak 15-1s and after the merge with Coast, Kevin co-coached the Coast 16-3s team in the fall and spring season. He comes to us now with over 21 years of coaching experience having coached multiple teams at different levels at the same time. Kevin was also instrumental in developing and growing the volleyball programs at Clairemont High School as well as UCSD Men’s Club Volleyball. As a player, he organized and pushed his teammates to change the culture of both programs to that of competition and success. His hard work and effort payed off and his success didnt go unnoticed, finishing 3rd in CIF his senior year in high school and an Open Division Bronze Medal at College Club Nationals his senior year in college. Wanting to continue the culture of success, Kevin remained heavily involved after graduating to ensure the continued growth of both programs.
During the day Kevin teaches high school Physics and Chemistry and is in his sixth year at Serra High School in Tierra Santa.

2010-2017- Open Division Bid – UCSD Men’s Club Volleyball
Average finish over 7 years- 10th in the Nation
