Born and raised in Sacramento, California, I started playing volleyball my freshman year of high school. I started as a defensive specialist, moved to libero, then onto setter and finally opposite. I transferred into UC San Diego my second year of school, having spent my first at Chico State. I have played three years at UCSD, starting a majority of the matches at opposite. As a junior, I received the award of Best Division II player in the nation from Off the Block, as well as finishing third in the nation in points per set and fifth in kills per set. My major is anthropology with a minor in environmental studies. I joined COAST in the summer of 2017.
