Bridgette Salas, moved to San Diego from Northern California in 1994 and hasn’t left. She grew up playing volleyball at Coast and Rancho Buena Vista High School. Her first year in college she played at Palomar taking first in conference. In the process of transferring to PLNU she met Daniel Salas and decided to get married and start a family.
Bridgette has been coaching for 17 years. She has been a varsity high school coach for girls, and boys for the last 9 years. She is also the director of the junior high volleyball program.
Bridgette was the owner and directer of Showcase Volleyball Club for the past 9 years impacting over 500 players and 30 coaches.
She has 5 amazing kids who love and play volleyball. Micah (16), Cynthia (14), Alana (13), Jolyna (10), and Daniel AKA D-dos (7). She is currently the head varsity volleyball coach at Horizon Prep in Rancho Santa Fe. Her enthusiasm, love for kids, and passion for volleyball is evident when coaching.
Off the volleyball court she loves hanging out with family, eating amazing food, singing and playing the guitar, and reading the Bible.
