Amanda Miles, entering her first year with COAST, was born in Los Angeles and raised in Eugene, Oregon. At Sheldon High School in Eugene, Amanda was a First-Team All-State and All-League selection in Volleyball, along with being her league MVP her senior year. She also lettered in tennis in high school and competed at the state tournament as a junior and senior. She continued her volleyball career in Pocatello, Idaho for the Division I school, Idaho State University. After two productive seasons, Amanda chose to transfer to beautiful Point Loma Nazarene University. At PLNU, she continued to excel in the classroom and on the court where she was a setter for the Sea Lions during her junior and senior seasons. Amanda graduated with honors with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Food & Nutrition in 2009 and also with her Masters of Business Administration in 2012.

Amanda is in her 1st season as the Varsity Coach at Santa Fe Christian School. Previously she was the head coach for The Academy of Our Lady of Peace and assisted Varsity at Francis Parker High School. She also spent 2 years at Point Loma High School with the Boys Varsity program. From 2011-2015, Amanda was at Beach and Bay Volleyball Club where she spent three years as the Assistant Director and one year as the Director. Prior to Beach & Bay, she was a coach for four years at Solana Beach Volleyball Club.

Amanda currently lives in Encinitas with her husband, Mike, 1 year old son, Nolan, and dog, Watson. She enjoys playing beach volleyball, camping, and spending time with her family.
