Bryan is a returning coach to COAST Volleyball and has also coached 4 seasons at Tstreet Volleyball Club. At T-Street, Bryan coached both the 15 and 17-2s. Bryan’s 15s team finished the season 14th in SCVA, took 9th in the Las Vegas National Qualifier in the American division, 5th in the Chicago National qualifier in the American Division and won Gold at the Phoenix Volleyball Festival. His 17s team had two 2nd place finishes in the Chicago National Qualifier in the American Division and also at JVA in Long Beach.
Bryan has spent 2 Seasons coaching JV and assisting Varsity – one at San Juan Hills High School and the other at Dana Hills High School. Each team won their respective conferences.
His volleyball career consisted of 2 years at Palomar college, his last year being the last season Palomar had reached the state playoffs. After Palomar, Bryan transferred to Concordia University in Irvine, where he earned a degree in Exercise Sports Science with a emphasis in education. At Concordia, Bryan was a member of the first Men’s Volleyball team, where they won the NAIA National Championship in 2013 and were runner-ups in 2014. As a player, Bryan was primarily an outside hitter, but has played every position collegiately other than setter.
Currently, Bryan is the Men’s Head Volleyball Coach at Palomar College and has recently assisted the Palomar women’s beach team.
