2008 VolleyHigh Tournament Series

 

Fall 2008 VolleyHigh Tournament Series
 

“Turn your fall training experience into a team that competes in the VolleyHigh Fall Tournament Series!”

 

In partnership with SDVBC and 951, Coast is proud to announce the creation of a new 10 week competitive fall program for players who do not play high school volleyball.  Beginning September 2nd Coast will organize a fall local team program to play in the VolleyHigh tournament series.  

 

Who?  For middle school athletes and players who do not play high school volleyball
What? Weekly training & VolleyHigh tournament volleyball
Where?

All tournaments will be played at Coast and SDVBC facilities

All practices will be at Coast

Practices:

JumpStart - 7th & 8th graders and High School Players --Tuesday and Thursday 5:30 to 7:30

LeapFrogs - 12 and Unders —Wednesday 5:30 to 7:30
When?

Starting September 3rd, 2008, ending November 8th, 2008 (Except Wednesday October 1st)
Tourneys: September 13th, 27th, October 11th, 25th, November 8th
Cost?

  • $450 total for LeapFrogs athletes to include all 5 VolleyHigh tournaments and a tee shirt uniform package.  (Add $250 to LeapFrogs program)

  • $750 for JumpStart athletes to include all 5 VolleyHigh tournaments and a tee shirt uniform package. (Add $250 to JumpStart program)

  • “Drop in” tournament participation may be allowed with a $100 start up (for the first time) and $50 for each additional tournament.

How? Register on the Coast website.  If space is available, walk in registration at practices may be possible.

 

More information:   The program is designed to increase opportunities for players to compete on teams during the fall so it is also ideal for athletes who have busy schedules.  Keep in mind that if you have conflicts with the tournaments, it’s no problem.  Although this program will be skill grouped and age grouped, there will be no tryouts.  Players may join at anytime in the season.   Teams will be formed the week before tournaments and assigned a coach for the upcoming event. This fall Coast will deliver up a local team experience that is fun and low stress, so keep VolleyHigh in mind if you are not playing high school volleyball!
