Attention COAST Families:
Ozhan will be hosting a
college placement workshop on Sunday February 12th, from 6-8 p.m. at COAST
Volleyball Club. The session is intended for the parents of players in the 10th,
11th and 12th grades. The session is free and open to all. Dress warm as it can
be cold in the gym at night.

Shorebreak 17s Qualified
Boys 17s Quiksilver wins Reno Junior Olympic Qualifier. The ShoreBreak Boys QuikSilver teams qualified in the Open for the Junior Olympics Championships in Dallas.
Coast Volleyball
COAST Volleyball Club is a program that brings together teachers of fantastic volleyball origins with one common interest, to serve kids. Among the staff COAST has three Olympians, two of whom earned gold medals in their own playing careers. Ten coaches have college coaching experience, and several others have played professionally on the beach or indoors. On the club level, the COAST coaching staff has earned a total of 19 Junior Olympic medals. When coaching in high school, COAST coaches have collectively earned three state championships. In the last three years, the COAST program has sent five teams to the Junior Olympics each season, and last season had three teams lead San Diego County at JOs in their age groups. In July, two of those three teams took home Junior Olympic medals and a third team finished in the top ten. There are presently twelve COAST alumni playing on top 25 Division 1 programs and five players participating at Ivy League schools.
Most importantly, our staff strives to create a great learning atmosphere whether the athlete is an experienced college bound player, or a rank beginner. We welcome you to sample our program’s instructive environment at one of our camps or pre-tryout workouts. Beyond winning and losing, our mission is to excel on behalf of kids who love volleyball.
