Sydney played for Concordia University in Irvine, CA for 2 years then at SDSU for 2 years, finishing out her college career in 2007 while being third on her team in blocks per game.

She has received her degree from SDSU in Kinesiology and plans on getting her Masters in Occupational Therapy.

She is from Yucaipa, CA and played for Rancho Valley VBC in high school out in the Riverside area.  She has a younger brother who is 15 who plays for Riptides VBC in Orange County and a younger sister who played at Northeastern University as well as her mom who played at Ole Miss.  Sydney has been playing volleyball since she was 12 years old and has a deep passion for the game. She enjoys coaching because she wants to share her knowledge, experience and love of the game with others! J
