Head Coach Troy Lake

Troy Lake is originally from Baltimore, Maryland.  There he join the military right after high school graduation.  While in the military he played recreation volleyball and then advanced to military and civilian tournaments.  Since his honorable discharge from the U.S. Navy, he continued to play in volleyball tournaments across the states.   One year since returning to San Diego after an Assistant Head Varsity and Head Freshman Coach for C.D. Hylton High school in Woodbridge, VA.

While in Virginia he diversified his coaching career by holding private lessons, coached an Evangel Baptist Church School, Dale City, VA and was the head coach for a 16-1’s for Clash Volleyball Club in Manassas, VA.  Since arriving at Coast, he has inspired and enriched the young athletes under his tutelage. 

He has furthered his diversification by assuming the Head Coaching responsibilities for Carmel Valley Middle School as well as the Head Coach for the 2009-2010 Season as the Head Coach for the Coast 14-1(s).

Troy always adds a fresh charismatic coaching style with an emphasis on teamwork, team enthusiasm that makes him an asset to Coast Volleyball Club.  He not only enjoys coaching volleyball, he also plays with the same enthusiasm every opportunity that arises.
