Kelsey is in her second year with Coast South Volleyball Club. Kelsey also coached the 16s division for Seaside Boys Volleyball Club this past season.  She also coached girls freshmen volleyball for Otay Ranch High School this past fall.

Kelsey, originally from Arlington, Texas, started playing volleyball in the 4th grade. She played at Arlington High School where she earned All-District honors, as well as All-academic team. She also played club for Texas Advantage Volleyball where she earned a full-ride scholarship to play at San Diego State University. She played outside hitter and opposite for the SDSU Lady Aztecs and served as team captain her senior year. She graduated from SDSU in 2011 with a degree in Public Administration. She was also active in the Student Athlete Advisory Committee.

While not coaching, Kelsey enjoys playing volleyball on the beach and indoors. She also loves spending time with friends and family, hiking, running, and being outdoors.
