Head Coach JJ Van Niel

2012 will be JJ's sixth year with Coast Volleyball Club. He brings an undeniable passion and dedication to the art and science of coaching volleyball.

During the past three years his travel teams at Coast have qualified for the open division at the USA Volleyball Girls Junior National Championships. He recently joined as an assistant with the UCSD mens volleyball team and has been with the La Costa Canyon girls volleyball team for the past two seasons including last year's record setting 7th straight CIF Championship.

JJ is a USA Volleyball CAP Level III candidate. He graduated cum laude from the University of Southern California earning a B.S. In Business Administration. JJ is happily married to Maria and has three children (Kaleb-9, Olivia-4, and Nathaniel-2).
