Head Coach Amy O'Dorisio
Volleyball
Achievements:
Amy attended U.S.D.H.S.
(now Cathedral Catholic High School) and was a three-year letter winner. She was
chosen as All-Western League and All-CIF First Teams in 1998 and 1999.
Amy coached at her Alma matter, girls and boys JV as well as Assistant to
Women’s varsity. Amy currently coaches the girls JV team at Francis Parker High
School. Amy played her collegiate ball at Manhattan College, in Riverdale, New
York. There she led her team to a Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference
Championship, while serving as team captain both her Junior and Senior years.
She was All-(MAAC) each of her four years as well as Rookie of the year in 1999,
and Defensive Player of the Year in both 2001 and 2002. After graduation Amy
traveled to Europe as part of Bring it Promotions where she toured 6 countries
and earned a tryout for a professional team in Omen, Holland. Amy is currently
a residential Realtor for Team Metro Real Estate of San Diego.
Reason you Coach Volleyball: “I am very passionate about the sport, and I’ve always liked being part of something bigger than myself– a team. Through coaching, I am able to share a portion of my love of volleyball with my players.”
